Kouki Nimura is an Executive Fellow at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), he serves as the Project Manager and Chief Launch Officer of the H-IIA and H-IIB launch vehicle programs. After working in the Space Equipment Engineering Department for over twenty years, he was dispatched to lead the H-IIA project in 2003. Nimura has been with MHI for more than three decades, and remains dedicated in developing the H3, its next major launch vehicle.
