Eiichi Yamaguchi is a professor at Kyoto University Graduate School of Shishu-Kan. Physicist (innovation theory, condensed matter physics). After a series of prestigious positions including principle researcher at NTT Basic Research Laboratories, visiting research scholar at IMRA Europe France, principle researcher at the 21st Century Public Policy Institute, professor at Doshisha University Graduate School, and guest research fellow at Clare Hall, Cambridge, he assumed his current position in 2014. He has written several books including “Why Has Innovation Died Out? Japan’s Scientific Crisis,” “Science of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy” (co-author), “Five Physics Theories to Learn Before You Die,” and “Innovation: Paradigm Disruptions and Fields of Resonances.”
